Cindy Hanke Hoffmann was a member of the Blue Angels basketball program from 1992-93.  In 1992, she was awarded the Team Free Throw and 3-Point Percentage Awards. In 1993, Cindy was named team Most Valuable Player, leading the team in scoring, field goals, and free throws. She was named to the All-Region 24 team and the All GRAC and GRAC All­Academic teams.  Cindy is also a member of the Blue Angel 1000 Point Club, scoring a total of 1,012 points in two years; 433 points in 1992 and 579 points in 1993. She averaged 20 points per game and 7.3 rebounds and finished her KC career with a 2-point shooting average of 46%, a 3-point range average of 41 %, and an overall shooting average of 43% and 76% from the free-throw line. Cindy also led the GRAC in 3-pointers with 96 made.  Cindy graduated from the KC Radiologic Technology Program in 1993 and in 1998, she returned to Kaskaskia College to help educate future radiographers. She has been an active volunteer coach in the community for various basketball and softball leagues. Cindy was also an assistant coach for the Trinity Lutheran Hoffman Eagles and assistant coach for Carlyle High School Lady Indians basketball for one season. She also has served on various committees at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, CUSD #1 and at Kaskaskia College.
