Jerri Wiley played women’s basketball at
Kaskaskia College from 1987-89 and was selected as the 1987-88
Conference Newcomer of the Year. Jerri was also named a
Kodak All-American in 1988-89 and went on to play basketball at
Southeast Missouri State University from 1989-91.
She scored 1,025 points in
two seasons and was ranked 16th all-time in
Southeast Missouri State University history. Jerri was
also ranked tenth in points in a single season (485 in 1989-90) and
seventh and eighth in field goal percentage in a single season
(55.6 percent in 1989-91 and 55 percent in 1990-91). She
was also ranked third and fifth in rebounds in a single season (328
in 1990-91 and 281 in 1989-90). Additionally, Jerri was
ranked eighth in steals in a single season (69 in 1990-91).
Jerri’s skills and on court accomplishments garnered her a
place on the 1989-90 Mid America Intercollegiate Athletic
Association (MIAA) Newcomer Team and on the 1989-90 and 1990-91
MIAA First Teams. Jerri was selected as a Kodak All
American and a 1990-91 MIAA MVP.
