Jim Sinovic attended high school at Belleville East
where he played football and baseball. Jim received
a baseball scholarship at KC in the Fall of 1986 and
played first base for two years. Jim had a career
batting average of .312; he hit 23 doubles, 2
triples and 14 home runs, 99 RBIs and had an on base
average of .424. With runners in scoring position, he
delivered 50% of his opportunities.
Against Belleville Area College, Jim had a
career day. In game one of the double headers, Jim
had 4 hits and in game two, he went 6 for 7 at the
plate. In addition to that career highlight, Jim had an
outstanding stretch of baseball where he hit 5 home runs
in two days and drove in 20 runs in ten
games. In the fall of his sophomore year, Jim
hit .384 with 8 doubles, 5 home runs and his
on base average was .526.
Jim is a very successful businessman in the metro east
area. He owns four Big Daddy’s Sports Bars,
located in Edwardsville, Soulard, Belleville and at the
Landing in St. Louis. He also owns
the Silvercreek Sports Bar and Grill in
Belleville. Jim continues to support local community
projects and Kaskaskia College Athletics through his philanthropic
contributions.
