Wayne Harre attended Kaskaskia College from 1983 to 1985.  Wayne was a member of the Blue Devils Basketball team where he averaged 10 points per game and 7 assists per game; setting a 29-6 record in 1984 and a 36-3 record in 1985.  As a result of his efforts and those of his teammates, the 1984-1985 Blue Devils Basketball team won the Region 4 Conference Championship and were ranked 7th in the nation.

Wayne earned the Defense Award, Most Valuable Player Award, All-Region Award, was selected as an Academic All American and was the 1985 Male Athlete of the Year.  Wayne earned All-Conference Awards his freshman and sophomore years at Kaskaskia College.

Wayne received an athletic scholarship to Southern Illinois University – Carbondale where he continued to play basketball for another two years until his graduation in 1987.

Wayne's coached boy's and girl's basketball at Nashville High School and earned several Coach of the Year Awards for his work with the girl's basketball team.   Wayne is presently employed in the farming career field and is a recent Pace Setter Award Recipient.
