Tammy Moore attended Kaskaskia College from 1986 to 1988 and was a two sport athlete, playing both women's basketball and volleyball.  As a basketball player, Tammy served as team captain and was named Most Valuable Player for two years consecutively while playing for Kaskaskia College. 

Tammy earned the Outstanding Student Award and finished 3rd in the nation, scoring 26 points per game as a freshman.  Tamy was selected as First Team All-Region during her freshman and sophomore years.  In 1988, Tammy was selected as a National Junior College Athletic Association Kodak WBCA All-American. 

Tammy led the KC Blue Angels to a 23-6 finish and a conference championship her sophomore year; averaging 23 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists.  Tammy continued her education and athletic career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  As a guard on the University of Nevada women's basketball team, Tammy started 16 out of 34 games, shot over 50% from the field, had 42 steals and 63 assists.
