The Devils were without the services of Kolton Shoemaker, who is out with a non running injury. "Overall we saw improvments from the team, Ty is starting to get into racing shape, Caleb had good solid first half of his race and Gerdes is starting to figure the longer distance out. It was good to see Britt finally get into action, I know he was disappointed, but with patience and continued work he will get better end results. Detmer struggled with the last part of his race, but will figure it out. Steve put together a solild first half of the race, just needs to relax and trust his training. Huegen had his best run of the season, was proud of him."
