The Blue Devils finished their regular season schedule with another race on the hills of St. Louis. The meet was held in Willmore Park (sure glad our parents figured that out, thanks Julie!) This was the second year for this event to be held in Willmore Park, but the course was completely different from last year. The first mile of the race included a very steep hill, that had to be navigated twice. The men were 6th with a total of 11 colleges being represented. Ty Reynolds placed 15th out of 77 racers in a time of 28:19. Next in line was Nick Fehr in 29:35 with Sam Britt next in 29:59. Nick Zwilling was the 4th counter followed by Caleb Klein. Christian Rees was the next BD to cross the finish, with Ostin Habeck and Ryan GerdesConner Garsnett, Ray Habeck, Levi Shook, Caleb Locke, and Cale Frisse cross the finish line. This type of course is not made for running fast times, more of a mental toughness test. The grades are yet to be posted, the finals are next on the schedule. Did this race make the men of the KC cross country team mentally tougher? We find out in a few more weeks.
