Three other Blue Angels received votes, earning honorable mention All-GRAC recognition. Sophomore first baseman and Highland High School alum, Kaitlin Mayberry, amassed a .389 batting average with 51 hits, including 12 doubles and 3 homeruns in 142 plate appearances.  Kaitiln tallied 27 RBI's, while scoring 22 of her own.   Kaitlyn also received the team's Co-MVP award.  Kaitlyn is continuing her education and softball career at Greenville University.

Nashville High School alum, Jordan Stiegman, anchored the outfield with 44 starts in leftfield.  In her freshman campaign, she accumulated a .371 batting average, with 53 hits, including 15 doubles, 1 triple, and 3 homeruns, and 38 RBI's in 154 plate appearances. Jordan only struck out a team leading, 4 times for the season. We will depend on Jordan to contribute even more next season as she solidifies the middle of our order.

Despite logging 110 innings pitched with 41 strike outs in 19 starts, Makayla Lane, a freshman pitcher from Pope County High School, actually made the biggest impact with her bat.  In 138 plate appearances, Makayla recorded a .361 batting average, with 11 doubles and a homerun, while driving in 12 runs.  With a year's experience under her belt, we look forward to next season as she will lead our pitching staff, in addition to the batting line-up.
