Blue Angels win Region 24 meet

The Blue Angels won the NJCAA Region 24 championship with a strong performance from Breann Wernle of Highland. She turned in a 2nd place finish, passing two runners in the last 1000 meters. Chloee Phillips of Salem was next across the line for KC, she was followed by Savananh Childers of Mt Vernon and Shalyn Crane of Mt Vernon. Emma File of New Athens was the 5th counter for the Blue Angels. All 5 KC Blue Angels earned All Region 24 honors.
