The Kaskaskia College Blue Devils got off to a rocky start but recovered quickly. The men was able to capture 9th place out of 13 full teams. Once again KC was the only 2 year college competing against 4 year school but held thier own. Lead by Salem's Hayden Wimberly and his 11th place finish in a time of 27:10 over the hilly 8k course of Francis Park, which is located in the area of St. Louis know as The Hill. Once again Dawson Webster of Salem was next in line for the Devils and he was followed by Nathaniel Blevins of Mt. Vernon. The next two finishers were the Connors, Connor Brooks of Salem and Conner Stewart of Coulterville. The Blue Devils open post season on Thursday October 25th, the NJCAA Region 24 meet will be held on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. The women race at 3 pm followed by the men.
