The Blue Angels competed in the H.W. Wright Classic hosted by Millikin University. The race was held at the former site of the Scovill Golf Course. Breann Wernle of Highland was the number one finisher for the Ladies covering the 6K distance in a time of 28:18, next in line was Savavanh Childers of Mt. Vernon in a time of 28:48. The number 3 counter was Chloee Phillips of Salem her time was 31:04. Emma File of New Athens came in at 34:07 and Shalyn Crane in 34:17. Both Files and Crane times were affected when they stopped to assist a runner having a seizure. As a team the Blue Angels were 9th.
