His career stats include 113 games started, 781 innings played with an on-base average of 41 % , 349 at bats, 108 hits, 65 runs, 83 runs batted in including 69 singles, 17 doubles, 3 triples, and 19 home runs. Jeff had 62 strikeouts, 7 sacrifice bunts with a .970 field average, delivered 52%, with a .309 batting average and .413 on-base average. Jeff also played on the basketball team his sophomore year and was selected as a 1983 Co-Male Athlete of the Year. Jeff earned his Associates of Arts degree at Kaskaskia College. Jeff went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Southeast Missouri University. Jeff is a member of the 1981 Centralia High School baseball team inducted into the Centralia Hall of Fame in 2006 and is a member of the 1981-82 Blue Devils baseball team inducted into the Kaskaskia College Hall of Fame in 2013. Jeff taught and coached for the Orchard Farm School district, Chaired the Missouri Automotive Dealers Association in 2014, is a past president of the Fredericktown Chamber of Commerce, and co-owned Barrett Jensen Chevrolet and Barrett Jensen Automotive from 1998-17.
