Stew Kirkland attended Kaskaskia College from 1978-1981 and was an avid member of the Blue Devils Men’s Golf team.  Stew was a 1981 Junior College All-American was the first golfer from Kaskaskia College to make the Junior College National Tournament. 

Stew is a member of the National Long Drive Association and uses his status as a professional golfer to support the Highlands School Educational Scholarship program through his participation in the Highlands Scholarship Fund Classics. 

Stew is a ReMax five time World Long Drive Qualifier; competing annually since 2004.  Stew placed 13th in the Open Division and boasts two top five finishes in the Senior Division.  His record for long drive is 417 yards.
