Hayden is a 2018 graduate of Salem Community High School. He was a 4 year varsity letter winner in cross country and track. Wimberly was one of the top 2A track atheltes in Illlinois, earning All State Status in the 800 meters and the 1600 meters. He was selected as a member of the All South team in both track and cross. He earned All Cahokia Conference honors in track and cross country his senior year. He was a state qualifier in cross country his senior year. Hayden was selected as MVP of the Salem Wildcats boys track and cross country teams. Hayden earn NJCAA All Region 24 honors for his 3rd place finish at the Region 24 meet.
