Nick was a mainstay at Newton High School in both cross country and track. Over his four years he earned the Nick Volk Award, the Selflessness Award and The Charcater Award. He quailifed for the IHSA State meets twice in track and twice in cross country. Nick holds the sophomore cross country record and the varsity cross country course records at Newton. His favorite food is goulash and his favorite music is country music. His favorite movie is The Bad News Bears.
