The wind was gusting up to 20 miles per hour, the temperture were in the low 60's but the Blue Angels stepped up and had a great race. Cheyenne Finley led the charge in a season best time of 20:06, placing 7th. Summer Chelf was next across the 5K finish line in a season best time of 20:52, placing her in 11th. Sophomore Elyse Faust of St. Rose also had her best time of the season in 20 minutes and 57 seconds, she acrossed the line in 12th. Gracee Kelly of Centralia was the 4th counter for the Blue Angels battling the winds to finish in 19th in a time of 22:15. Mya Albers put together her best race of her career finishing 19th in a time of 22:28. Not to be out done, freshmen Macie Hargis and Abby Bloemer had their best times of the year, finishing with times of 23:15 and 23:22. As a team the DII nationally ranked Blue Angels finished in second behind DII powerhouse Heartland College. The pack time for the Blue Angels continue to improve with a 2-5 time of 1:36, a big improvement.
