With gusts of up to 18 miles per hour, there was some tough racing when running toward the south. Raelyn Dearing placed 8th overall for the Blue Angels in a solid time of 22:56. She was followed by teammate Grace Lauer in 9th place and Gracee Kelly in 11th. Macey Lentz was next for the ladies, followed by Brooklynn McAllister and Simone Liefer. The Blue Angels had some struggles today, with Macey being under the weather and not feeling well, but she kept giving it all she had. Gracee Kelly had a huge improvement from the first time she ran this course, as she continues to improve. Raelyn had her best race of the season and Lauer continues to battle and improve also. As post season continues the Blue Angels will need to stick together and be ready to race at Nationals. The experience of Brooklyn from last year and Kelly's past national races will be an assit during post season, also some time for Simone's knee to heal up with be factors in the sucess.
