Blue Angels wearing pink for cancer awareness.
The Blue Angels at ST. Louis Fall Festival

The Blue Angels were decked out in their pink singlets for Breast Cancer Awareness. The site was Wilmore Park in St. Louis, the grass was long and a bit wet, but the course was fast. Megan Cook placed 11th overall in a season best time of 20 minutes and 2 seconds, also with a season best time of 20 minutes and 25 seconds was Summer Chelf in 13th place. Cayla Krueger had a strong race with a 25th place finish in a time of 21 minutes and 34 seconds. Mya Albers was the 4th counter for the Blue Angels in a time of 23 minutes and 2 seconds, right behind her was Macie Hargis in 23:23. Maggie Fitzgerald crossed the line in 24:30. "Overall this was a very strong effort for the Blue Angels as their average time was 21:17 and combined time of 1:48:28.7. Great efforts on the front end with Cooker & Naomi going out hard and both dropping times, K had very strong race, Mya was solid and Macie continues to drop her times, Margaret had a rough day, there is no time outs or subs once the race starts, so you just have to battle through, even if your breakfast disagrees with you!" The Blue Angels are heading  to NJCAA post season after a very producative regular season campaign.
