After a great week of workouts and excited to wear the pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Angels raced with some attitude. As has been the case in the last several races, the trio of Macey Lentz, Raelyn Dearing, and Grace Lauer went off fast on the first mile of the 5K race. Not too far off the pace was Brooklynn McAllister. Gracee Kelly and Simone Liefer were battling over the rough terrain of Willmore Park. The Angels put together their best race of the season as a group. The team placed 5th out of 9 teams and only 13 points from 4th. The overall time of 1:53.48 was the best of the season, as was the 22:45 average time. With times of 21:56, 22:08, 22:22, and 23:00.6, the top 4 had a pack time of 1:04. Great way to close out the regular season. "The Halo Angels are starting to believe and to trust the workouts."
