With warmer tempertures and the rolling hills of the  Maxwell Park course made for difficult race for everyone. Though the conditons were not ideal the ladies of KC did not back down from the challenge and battle through the race. The Angels were lead by Raelyn Dearing, Grace Lauer continues to improved and was the 2nd counter for the Blue Angels. Macey Lentz was the number 3 counter. Brooklynn McAllister was 4th for the team with Simone Liefer and Gracee Kelly were 5th and 6th. "Not making  excuses, but the ladies were put in a tough spot, we arrived later to the venue than normal due to road conditions. Less time to warm up. The tempertures were warm and the course is tough. Macey had some issues on the course, but battle through to finish. These girls are working hard and are not going to back down. They were huddled together after the race discussing what to do to continue to improve on the season. There is no back down in this group."
